Shipping and Returns


We would like to get your order right the first time, especially if you are having your skates custom mounted.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding our exchange/return policy for your order please contact us BEFORE placing your order.

You must contact us within 14 days receiving your order for a return or exchange.  All exchanged and returned merchandise must be in unused original condition and original packaging. You must email info@fivestrideskateshop.com or call at 347-529-6787 for return instructions.  Please DO NOT ship anything to Five Stride without first notifying us.



  • We normally ship with the UPS with Insurance.
  • If an item is in stock we usually ship within 24-48 hours. Orders placed on Friday, the weekend, or on holidays will not be shipped until the next business day we are open (we are closed on Monday).
  • If you need an item urgently please call to confirm the ship date.
  • Shipment date is not guaranteed unless you call to confirm rush shipment.
  • The store is closed on Monday and orders placed on Friday through Monday will not be processed until the following business day.
  • We offer Free Shipping for most orders over $400 within the continental US, unless otherwise noted. Free Shipping may not be reflected in Checkout during order.


  • Five Stride Skate Shop is able to ship items anywhere in the world.
  • All orders are shipped express US Postal Service. If you prefer another shipping provider, at your expense, please notify us before the order is placed.
  • There are no US. taxes on orders shipped outside the US.
  • Five Stride is not responsible for any customs handling fees, duties, import fees, taxes, or other charges that result when your merchandise is imported to your country. Check with your local customs agency for details regarding possible duties or taxes on your order.
  • Five Stride cannot issue credit in cases where packages are not delivered due to non-payment of duties, import fees, taxes, etc.


Items that may NOT be returned or exchanged:

  • Used/worn skates.
  • Custom boots (this includes custom colors, widths, sizes, etc).
  • Custom mounted boots.
  • Custom skate packages (skates for which you have selected the components separately and had mounted by Five Stride or elsewhere).
  • Special order items.
  • Non-stock items.
  • Items that state in the product description that they may not be returned nor exchanged.
  • Sale, clearance, and closeout items.
  • If you are unsure if your purchase will be return-able please contact us in advance to find out.


  • We will exchange items that do not fit properly, but they must be unworn and in brand-new condition, with all original packaging.
  • The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
  • There is no restocking fee for exchanges on unused merchandise.
  • Any items returned not in perfect, new on-the-shelf condition will be returned to the customer at their expense.
  • If you order the wrong size in a stock boot or skate, you are responsible for shipping and a $10 restocking fee to switch out for the correct skate.
  • If we messed up and sent you the wrong size, sorry!!  Just let us know and we will cover the shipping cost and get you the right item, as soon as we receive the incorrect item from you.
  • All skates/packages that require mounting are subject to a 10% restocking fee.


  • The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
  • Once we receive the item we will credit your card, minus the shipping costs and restocking fee of 20%.
  • All skates/packages that require mounting are subject to a 10% restocking fee.


  • We will replace the damaged item or refund your money, but we must receive the damaged item back before store credit, exchange, or refund is issued.
  • Five Stride Skate Shop is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged by any mail carrier service.
  • We ship packages with insurance. Domestic packages are shipped via UPS and International packages are shipped via USPS.
